Storage
Long term storage of your machine will require some
preventive procedures to guard against deterioration.
Drain the fuel
1. Turn the engine switch to “ ” (STOP).
2. Remove the fuel tank cap and fuel tank strainer.
Extract the fuel from the fuel tank into an approved
gasoline container using a commercially available
hand siphon. Then, install the fuel tank strainer
and fuel tank cap.

• Fuel is highly flammable and poisonous. Check
“Safety information” (See page 1-1) carefully.
• Install the fuel tank cap securely.
• Immediately wipe off spilled fuel with a rag. Fire
hazard may occur.
Immediately wipe off spilled fuel with a clean, dry,
soft cloth, since fuel may deteriorate painted sur-
faces or plastic parts.
