Revolabs Elite Wired Microphones have a 15 feet cable a ached that splits into two three-wire ends,
one for audio connec
on, the other for external control.
Please see the diagram for the polarity on these wires.
Audio Connec
on:
For the audio connec
on, connect the red wire to the
posi
ve (+) microphone input of the DSP or audio equip-
ment you use with the microphone. Connect the black wire with the nega
ve (-) input and the shield
to ground.
When connec ng to a male XLR connector, use the following graphic:
1 – Ground / Shield (grey wire) 2 – Posi
ve (+) (red wire)
3 – Nega
ve (-) (black wire)
The Elite Wired Microphone includes ac
ve electronic circuitry, and requires Phantom Power to be provided from
the device the microphone is connected to. The Elite Wired Microphone requires a phantom voltage between
9 and 48V DC, with a maximum draw of 2mA.
Control Connec
on:
The green wire of the control connec
on is pulled to ground (falling edge, low) when the bu on is pressed.
The blue wire controls the LED color on the microphone when external control is selected. Dierent LED colors are
achieved by providing either ground, or +3.3V to +5V .
The microphone has 6 dip switches below the bo
om door controlling func onality. Factory preset uses the bu on
to control mute locally, a red LED indica
ng a muted microphone, and pressing the bu on toggles between muted
and unmuted state. See the documenta
on for all possible se ngs of the DIP switches.
To install the Elite microphones permanently using the mounting kits, remove the
bottom of the microphone by inserting a screwdriver in the opening, pushing the latch to
release the bottom plate. The microphone can now be connected to the mounting kit.
