reverse direction into the lower case.
6. Install the ring nut

specified torque.
7. Install the forward gear

Install the dog clutch

with the “F” mark

facing toward the forward gear.
CAUTION:
Add or remove shim(s), if necessary,
when replacing the forward gear or taper
roller bearing.
