9. Place the throttle cam

10. Adjust the position of the throttle cable
joint until its hole is aligned with the set
pin

on the throttle cam.
CAUTION:
The throttle cable joint must be screwed
in a minimum of 8.0 mm (0.31 in)

11. Connect the cable joint, install the clip,
and then tighten the locknut.
12. Check the throttle cable for smooth oper-
ation and adjust the cable length, if nec-
essary, repeating steps 110.

NOTE:
Be sure to synchronize the throttle valves
before adjusting the throttle link.
