Oil pump removal
1. Remove:
• Oil pump assembly
NOTE:
Loosen the oil pump bolts in the sequence
shown.

Oil pump inspection
1. Check:
• Oil pump operation
Rough movement → Replace the defec-
tive part(s).
Oil strainer inspection
1. Check:
• Oil strainer 1
Damage → Replace.
Contaminants → Clean with engine oil.
