Singing with Song Playback—Setting Up
Switching Song playback modes
This instrument features two modes of Song playback: Song Player mode and Song List mode. Song Player mode plays
back a MIDI Song and a Audio Song simultaneously. Song List mode plays back Songs continuously along with a previ-
ously created Song List.
1 Press the [PLAYER] button to call up the Song Playback display.
The Song Player function or Song List is displayed, depending on which you have
selected last time.
2 Touch the display or press the [PLAYER] button to switch the
Song playback mode.
Song File Compatibility
You can play back the following types of Songs.
• Preset Songs (MIDI Songs)
• Your own recorded Songs (for instructions on recording, see page 84)
• Commercially available Songs: MIDI files in SMF (Standard MIDI File) format, Audio files in WAV or MP3 format.
WAV ..........44.1 kHz sample rate, 16 bit resolution, stereo
MP3 ..........44.1/48.0 kHz sample rate, 64–320 kbps bit rate or VBR, mono/stereo
