Error Messages
If an error occurs, a message will appear on the display. Use the following chart to confirm the problem and find an
appropriate solution.

Message Cause Solution
Battery Power is Low.
The battery power is low. Replace all 6 batteries.
Connect AC Adaptor
The function cannot be used, since now power is
being drawn from batteries.
Turn off the power, connect the AC adapter,
and then turn it on again (pages 13, 14).
Backup Error
An error occurred reading the settings. Do not remove the power adapter or batteries
until the screen display disappears when
turning off the power.
MIDI Error
An error occurred while transmitting and receiving
MIDI data.
Check the connection status with the
computer or iPhone/iPad.
Update Error
An error occurred during the update. Turn off the power and then turn it on again
(pages 14, 15).
Please Reboot.
The instrument needs to be restarted.
File Open Error
An error occurred while reading the file. Check the connection status of the USB
device and the content data of the device.
File Read Error
File Close Error
File Write Error
An error occurred while writing the file. Check the USB device connection status,
device data contents, and write protect
status.
Connect USB Memory.
No USB device is connected. Connect a USB device (page 33).
Cannot Record.
The USB device is write-protected. Check the write protect status of the USB
device.
Cannot Play.
Failed to play back the file. Check the USB device connection status,
device data contents, and write protect
status.
Operation Failed.
File deletion failed.
USB Device Error
An error occurred while accessing the USB device.
System File Error
An error occurred while accessing the system file.
File Error
An error occurred while accessing the file.
Memory Full Error
During recording, the recording data size has
exceeded the remaining capacity of the USB device.
Delete unnecessary files of the USB device,
on your computer.
Disk Full Error
The remaining capacity of the USB device has run
out while writing a file.
File is too Large.
The selected file was too large to read. Reduce the size of the file.
USB Connection Error
Failed to connect the USB device. Check the USB device status, and then
reconnect the device.
USB Overcurrent Error
An abnormal current has flowed through the USB
device. (The USB device is defective.)
Unplug the USB device and use another USB
device.
Format Error
An unformatted USB device is inserted. Check the format of the USB device. This
instrument only supports FAT32 format.
