6
5 After you finish your performance, touch [J] (Stop) on the Home display to stop
recording.
6 To hear the recorded performance, touch [R/K] (Play/Pause).
Since recording of the right-hand or Style parts is completed, go on to the next step to record
the left-hand part or a melody.
7 Call up the Song Recording window and confirm that [Overwrite MIDI] is
selected.
8 Select the next part for recording.
If you want to record the left-hand part, touch [Left Hand] to set “Left” to [Rec] and other parts
to [Off].
If you want to record a melody, touch [Keyboard All] or [Style All] to set the desired keyboard
part to [Rec] and all Style parts to [Off].
NOTICE
Previously recorded data will be overwritten if you set channels which already have recorded data to [Rec].
NOTE
• When the [Left] part is turned off on the Home display, touching [Left Hand] here turns “Main” and “Layer” to [Rec]. In
this case, you can record using the same Voice that you recorded in steps 3 – 5, but record it to other channels
(page 81).
• If you want to cancel recording, touch [Cancel] in the display or press the SONG CONTROL [I] (Rec) button before
going on to the next step.
