Introducing the MRX7-D
A signal processor that features the audio pro-
cessing required for optimizing the acoustics of
installed systems
The MRX7-D is a high-performance, high-quality sound sig-
nal processor that features the audio processing required for
optimizing the acoustics of installed systems. In addition to a
matrix mixer, EQ, delay, compressor/gate, and other basic
functions, the signal processor provides an auto mixer, speech
privacy, room combiner, and several other components that
support various applications.
Dedicated “MTX-MRX Editor” application soft-
ware to help you design an entire acoustic system
MTX-MRX Editor is dedicated application software that
enables you not only to configure signal processing inside the
MRX7-D, but also to design a complete acoustic system that
includes a series of Yamaha acoustic equipment components
(such as an MTX matrix processor, an XMV power amplifier,
etc.). System Editor enables you to control, monitor, and
design an integrated acoustic system using a single applica-
tion.
Support for large installations with versatile
inputs and outputs
The MRX7-D features digital input/output via “YDIF”and
“Dante,” as well as eight mic/line inputs, two stereo line
inputs, and eight analog outputs. Maximum 108-ch input and
104-ch output will comfortably support a large-scale acoustic
system.
Support for external controls
The MRX7-D supports a “DCP” series wall-mounted control
panel, and the “Wireless DCP” app for iOS and Android. It
also supports the “ProVisionaire Touch” app (for tablet
devices) that enables users to customize audio designs, and
touch screen devices by AMX or Crestron. These tools enable
you to customize the acoustic environment to make it suitable
for installed system applications.
MTX-MRX Editor is software for the Windows operating sys-
tem that allows unified construction and control of systems that
use the MTX/MRX series.
