Filter types
Several types of level change curve are available. Click the [Type] button and select a type from the menu.
PEQ
This is a conventional parametric equalizer.
L.SHELF (Low Shelving)
Without attenuating the low frequencies, this filter applies a fixed amount of attenuation to the region
above the cutoff frequency. [6dB/Oct] and [12dB/Oct] specify the amount of attenuation per octave.
H.SHELF (High Shelving)
Without attenuating the high frequencies, this filter applies a fixed amount of attenuation to the region
below the cutoff frequency. [6dB/Oct] and [12dB/Oct] specify the amount of attenuation per octave.
HPF (High Pass Filter)
A gently (12 dB/Oct) diminishing curve will be applied to the lower frequencies.
LPF (Low Pass Filter)
A gently (12 dB/Oct) diminishing curve will be applied to the higher frequencies.
Parameter Range Function
q Library [STORE]
Stores the equalizer library.
Files have a file name extension of “.ce2”.
w Library [RECALL]
Recalls the equalizer library.
Files have a file name extension of “.ce2” or “.cep”.
e PEQ response
Displays the equalizer response as a graph.
Drag the control points to edit the parameters.

APF 2nd, Horn EQ
Selects the filter type.
You cannot select APF 1st, APF 2nd, or Horn EQ for the 8
Band EQ. Nor can you select the type for bands other than
the two ends of the 8 Band EQ (they are fixed at PEQ).
t Q 0.1–63.0 Specifies the width of each frequency band.
y Freq. 20Hz–20kHz Specifies the center frequency of each frequency band.
u Gain -18dB–+18dB
Specifies the level by which the frequency band will be
adjusted.
i BYPASS On/Off Turns bypass on/off for each frequency band.
o PEQ ON On/Off Turns the entire equalizer on/off.
