Singing with Song Playback—Setting Up
Switching Song playback modes
This instrument features two Song playback modes: Song Player and Song List. The Song Player mode simultaneously
plays back both a MIDI Song and an Audio Song. The Song List mode plays back Songs continuously along with a previ-
ously created Song List.
1 Press the [PLAYER] button to call up the Song Playback display.
The Song Player function or Song List is displayed, depending on which you
selected last time.
2 Touch the display or press the [PLAYER] button to switch the
Song playback mode.
Song File Compatibility
You can play back the following types of Songs.
• Preset Songs (MIDI Songs)
• Your own recorded Songs (for instructions on recording, see page 87)
• Commercially available Songs: MIDI files in SMF (Standard MIDI File) format, Audio files in WAV or MP3 format.
WAV .......... 44.1 kHz sample rate, 16 bit resolution, stereo
MP3 .......... 44.1/48.0 kHz sample rate, 64–320 kbps bit rate or VBR, mono/stereo
