AM radio is available only for U.S.A. model.

To listen to a FM/AM station, connect the antenna as described in “Connecting the speakers and antenna” (P. 2).

 Display information (remote control only)

If you press DISPLAY on the remote control, the information shown on the front panel display will be switched in the

following order.

LISTENING TO FM/AM STATIONS

Selecting an FM/AM station

1 Press the RADIO source button to switch the

audio source to FM/AM.

2 Tune FM/AM stations

Automatic tuning: Press and hold TUNING /.

Manual tuning: Press TUNING / repeatedly.

If you tune to a station manually while receiving FM, the sound

will be monaural.

Preset number and frequency Reception status*

* Example of reception status indication (the STEREO/MONO indication is not shown while

receiving an AM broadcast).

TUNED/STEREO: A strong FM stereo broadcast is being received.

TUNED/MONO: A monaural FM broadcast is being received (even if the FM

broadcast is stereo, reception will be monaural if the signal is weak).

Not TUNED: No broadcast is being received.
