MAKING IN-WALL CONNECTIONS
4 Insert one bare wire
into
the hole
of
each terminal.
To
connect
the speakers
to
the
MCX-CA15
5 Tighten
the
terminal
to
secure the wire.
CAUTIONS
Complete these
connections
before
connecting
to
a live power source.
Do
not
let
the
bare speaker
wires
touch
each
other
or
any metal
part
of
these
units.
This
could
damage these
units
and/or
the
speakers.
Use magnetically shielded speakers.
If
this
type
of
speaker
still
creates
interference
with
the monitor, place
the
speakers away
from
the
monitor.
Be
sure
to
connect
the
left channel (L),
right
channel (R),
"+"
(white) and
"-"
(black) properly. If
the
connections
are
faulty,
no
sound
will
be heard
from
the
speakers, and
if
the
polarity
of
the
speaker
connections
is
incorrect,
the
sound
will
be unnatural and lack bass.
Black:
positive
( + )
White: negative ( - )
2 Twist
the
exposed wires
of
the cable
together
to
prevent
short
circuits.
4 Insert one bare wire
into
the hole
of
each terminal.
To
connect
DC
power cables
3 Loosen
the
terminal
using
a
screwdriver.
1 Remove approximately 6 mm (1/4")
of
insulation
from the end
of
each
supplied
DC
power
cable.

of
insulation
from
the
end
of
each speaker
cable.
2 Twist
the
exposed wires
of
the
cable
together
to
prevent
short
circuits.
3 Loosen
the
terminal
using
a
screwdriver.
5 Tighten
the
terminal
to
secure the wire.
