MAKING IN-WALL CONNECTIONS
After ALL in-wall connections are complete,
connect the
AC
adaptor and power cable to either
the MCX-CA15 or I/O box
as
follows.
CAUTIONS
• Use
the
supplied
AC
adaptor only.
• Always make
sure
the
AC
adaptor is
placed in a safe location,
such
as on a
rack
or
other
mounting
equipment,
to
avoid fire
or
electrical shock.
• The
AC
adaptor
must
be
positioned
so
that
the
power
plug
can be
unplugged
easily. When
using
the I/O
box
to
supply
power
to
the
client,
position
the I/O
box
outside
the
wall. When
using
the
MCX-CA15 on
its
own
or
to
supply
power
to
the client,
plug
the
AC
adaptor
into
the
DC
IN
12V
jack
on
the
front
panel
of
the
unit.
• A single
AC
adaptor
can
support
the
operation
of
an MCX-C15 and MCX-CA15
connected as described in
this
manual. A
single
AC
adaptor
cannot
support
the
operation
of
more than one
of
these
units
at a time.
• The power
to
these
units
remains on as
long
as
they
are connected
to
a live
power source.
To
turn
off
the power, you
must
unplug
the power cable
from
the
AC
wall
outlet
to
which
it
is connected.
•
To
connect the
AC
adaptor
to
an
AC
wall
outlet

front
panel
of
the
MCX-CA15
or
the

cable
