BEFORE USING THE MusicCAST SYSTEM
MCX-A10 client operation:
1 Press and hold MENU on the client until
the Top Menu screen
is displayed.
2 Press A I v to choose "Setup" and
press SELECT.
3 Press A I v to choose "System" and
press SELECT.
4 Press A I v to choose "System
Update" and press SELECT.
The System Update screen appears.
5 Press c:> .
The client automatically checks the content of
the upgrade CD-ROM, and the messages
"Receiving"
> "Data Check" > "Flash Erase" >
"Flash Write" > "Verify" > "Update O.K."
appear in succession in the front panel display.
The client restarts automatically.
The upgrade process is complete.
When the upgrade for both the server and the
MCX-AI0 client is complete, you can use the server
and
MCX-AI0 client functions that were upgraded
through this procedure.

If the version upgrade fails due to a power cut or for
any other reason, restart the server and follow the
procedure below.
If the version upgrade is successful, "3.0.x" appears
in the "Main CPU" and
"MCX-AI0" fields of the
System version screen. For details, see the
MCX-I000 Owner's Manual, page 132.
Do not remove the upgrade CD-ROM from the CD
drive until the recovery operation
is complete.

• The "OSD VERSION MISIVIATCH" screen
appears
• The "NEED TO UPDATE AMP
DATABASE" screen appears

In this case, the recovery operation starts
automatically. When the message "UPDATE OK"
or "RECOVERY OK" appears on the left side
of the
screen, follow the procedure below.
