The MOTIF Classic was introduced in 2001
to the market and uses - like all models of
the MOTIF series - the AWM2 technology,
in which sampled Waveforms are pro-
cessed using the principle of subtractive
synthesis with envelopes, filters and LFOs.
This soundprocessing is applied to the ROM
Waveforms as well as the User Waveforms
(samples).
