A specific function has been assigned to each page. Use
the [SELECTED PART CONTROL] and [MULTI PART
CONTROL] button to select the desired page.

[SF4] F8 Closes the window located at the front of the
computer or floating window.

Marker Cycle Replace Solo – Shift
Buttons Functions
[F1] Marker Turns the Marker on or off.
[F6] Shift + [F1] Marker Enters the Marker Option mode.
[F2] Cycle Turns Loop on or off.
[F6] Shift + [F2] Cycle Enters the Cycle Option mode.
[F3] Replace Turns the Replace Record on or off.
[F4] Solo Turns Solo on or off.
[SF1] Nudge Turns Nudge on or off.
[F6] Shift + [SF1] Nudge Enters the Nudge Option mode.
[SF2] Drop Turns Drop (Punch In/Out Record) on or
off.
[SF3] Click Turns Click on or off.

Moves the cursor in the LCD of the MOTIF
XS.
[F3] Zoom Turns Zoom on or off.
[F4] E Bank
[F5] Bank F
Scrolls through the track indication on the
LCD of the MOTIF XS every eight channels.
[SF3] Scrub Turns Scrub on or off. When Scrub is on, the
dial can be used for Scrub playback. When
Scrub is off, the dial is used to move the song
position.

Scrolls through the track indication on the
LCD of the MOTIF XS every eight channels.
Buttons/Knobs Functions
[F1] Tracks (Track Parameter mode)
[F1] Tracks → [F1] Tracks (Selected
Channel mode)
Assigns the Track settings to
the knobs on the MOTIF XS.
This applies to the two DAW
mode types listed at left.
Knobs 1 – 8 Edits each of the parameters.
[ENTER] (with the cursor on any
channel.)*
Resets the parameter value to
the default.

[F2] Pan
[F2] Pan → [F2] Pan (Selected
Channel mode about Pan/Surround)
Assigns the parameters of
each channel’s pan to the
knobs on the MOTIF XS.
Knobs 1 – 8 Edits each of the parameters.

Resets the parameter value to
the default.

Assigns EQ-related settings of the
selected channel to the knobs and
faders on the MOTIF XS.
Call up the Fader Banks
page, then press the [F6]
M1 + [SF1] E Channel/
[SF2] Channel F
Changes the Plug-in number when
the [EDIT] is turned on.
Knobs 1 – 8 (Band mode) For editing each frequency band.
Fader 1 – 8 (Band mode) For editing the Q (bandwidth) of
each frequency band.

Assigns the settings related to the
Send Effect to the knobs on the
MOTIF XS.
