Principales fonctions Ondes et éléments Les ondes sont les formes d'onde qui constituent les éléments, qui, à leur tour, constituent une voix. Au total, 1309 ondes prédéfinies de haute qualité sont disponibles. Comme le montre l'illustration suivante, lorsque vous créez une voix, vous pouvez sélectionner l'onde à utiliser comme élément, puis régler son niveau, sa hauteur de ton, son timbre et d'autres paramètres.
Principales fonctions Voix normale et voix de batterie La configuration interne propose deux types de voix : les voix normales (Normal Voices) et les voix de batterie (Drum Voices). Les voix normales sont essentiellement des sons de type instrument de musique en hauteur qui peuvent être reproduites sur la plage du clavier. Les voix de batterie, quant à elles, sont essentiellement des sons de percussion/batterie qui sont affectés à des notes individuelles du clavier.

Par exemple, vous pouvez modifier le réglage EG pour donner à la voix une attaque plus douce ou plus percutante, ou modifier le relâchement pour la faire durer. Vous pouvez également définir des réglages similaires pour le filtre et modifier le timbre de la voix.

Les changements de vélocité sont calculées comme suit : Vélocité ajustée = (vélocité initiale x Rate) + Offset. Si le résultat est égal ou inférieur à 0, la valeur est réglée sur 1. Si le résultat est supérieur à 127, elle est réglée sur 127.

Piste La tâche Glide remplace toutes les notes qui suivent la première note de la plage spécifiée par des données de hauteur de ton, ce qui produit de légers glissements de note en note.

Installation du matériel en option 4 Insérez environ deux tiers de la carte le long des rails guide à l'intérieur du MOTIF, avec le côté connecteur relevé et face à vous. Plug-in SLOT 3 2 1 6 Insérez la carte plug-in dans la partie restante de la baie d'extension. Remettez avec précaution le câble en ruban dans le MOTIF, en vérifiant qu'aucune partie du câble n'adhère à l'instrument.
Installation du matériel en option Installation de l'AIEB2 ou du mLAN8E en option MOTIF6 / MOTIF7 La carte d'extension mLAN (mLAN8E) ou la carte d'extension E/S (AIEB 2) vendues séparément, peuvent être installées sur le MOTIF. La carte mLAN8E vous permet de connecter simplement et facilement votre MOTIF à d'autres instruments ou périphériques compatibles avec mLAN. La carte AIEB2 vous offre des options d'E/S numériques supplémentaires, en proposant à la fois des connecteurs optiques et coaxiaux.
Installation du matériel en option 5 Retirez les câbles d'alimentation de l'AIEB2 du câble en forme de crochet inséré dans le MOTIF. 7 MOTIF6 / MOTIF7 Branchez le câble à ruban plat de l'AIEB2 sur la carte imprimée du MOTIF. Veillez à effectuer la connexion dans le sens approprié, comme indiqué. Assurez-vous que le sens est correct et n'essayez pas de forcer la connexion.
Installation du matériel en option Retournez le AIEB2 en prenant soin de ne pas plier ou endommager le câble à rubans. Installation du mLAN8E 1 AIEB2 2 En suivant la même procédure que dans les étapes 1 - 4 de l'« Installation de l'AIEB2 » ci-dessus, retirez le couvercle de la partie inférieure du MOTIF, puis remettez le couvercle de la baie d'extension mLAN/I/O. Retirez le mLAN8E de son emballage et branchez le câble à ruban plat fourni. Attachez-le correctement au panneau arrière de mLAN8E.
Installation du matériel en option 4 Fixez le mLAN8E sur le MOTIF. Retournez l'unité pour que chaque section de connecteur de mLAN8E puisse être vue de l'arrière du MOTIF. Soutenez l'unité d'une main, fixez-la à l'arrière du MOTIF avec les trois vis que vous avez enlevées auparavant. Si vous commencez à remettre les vis à partir de la vis centrale, il sera facile de remettre les vis restantes.

Connexion d'équipements SCSI externes 4 5 6 Fixez l'unité de clôture sur le connecteur SCSI (celui des deux connecteurs SCSI qui est vacant) du dernier appareil dans la connexion en guirlande. Vous pouvez aussi mettre sous tension le sélecteur de terminateur de ce dispositif. Assurez-vous que le sélecteur de terminateur est désactivé (OFF) sur tous les autres appareils de la guirlande (sauf le dernier).
