For the SWX2200 series Yamaha switch
Use this to view or change the settings of the SWX2200 series Yamaha switch.
The tabs shown at the top of the image allow you to switch between information displays.
[Switch settings] tab: View or configure the settings of the SWX2200 series Yamaha switch.
[Port settings] tab: Configure basic functions, VLAN, and other settings for each port.
Switch settings
Device name
Changes the device name of the switch.
Click the [Setting] button to display the “Device name” dialog box.
Default: [Device name]_[Serial number]
Label
Allows you to enter a label that distinguishes the individual device.
Click the [Setting] button to display the “Label” dialog box.
Comment
Allows you to enter a comment.
Click the [Setting] button to display the “Comment” dialog box.
Snapshot
Cannot be changed. This is fixed to “On.”
Power
conservation
Configures the power conservation settings of the switch.
Click the [Setting] button to display the “Power conservation” dialog box.
Default: Normal mode
Loop detection
Configures the action of the switch when a loop is detected.
Click the [Setting] button to display the “Loop detection” dialog box.
Default
MAC address movement number threshold: 3 times
Action when a loop is detected: Don't automatically shut down the port
Time to release the port automatically: 300 seconds
Port mirroring
Configures the port mirroring settings of the switch.
Click the arrow ( ) to display the [Setting] button. Click the [Setting] button to display the “Port
mirroring” dialog box.
Default
Operation mode: Not use
Sniffer port: Port 8 for a device with 8 ports, or port 24 for a device with 24 ports
Monitor mode (combo box): Not mirrored
