User Manual

Enhanced voice control, through improved Alexa integration,
means more natural Alexa commands and easier access to streaming
services. On MusicCast devices made in 2018 and later, it’s even
easier to ask Alexa to play the music you want, where you want it.
Just Say It
Fewer words, more control. Enhanced voice
control allows you to ask Alexa for specific songs,
artists and genres. For example: “Alexa, play jazz
from Amazon Music in the kitchen.” Need to pause
the music to take a call? Just say, “Alexa, pause.
The connected Echo or Dot in your house allows
you to talk to your MusicCast devices* made
in 2018 and later the same way you talk to the
Amazon device. If you’re new to Alexa, you’ll learn
quickly because you can speak naturally, like you
would talk to a person. You’ll be enjoying music
throughout your home on your favorite speakers
and systems, hands-free, in no time.
Streaming Services
Alexa can play music from streaming services linked
to your Amazon Alexa account, including Amazon
Music, Pandora, Deezer, Gimme Radio, TuneIn and
iHeartRadio. Ask Alexa to play a specific artist like
this, “Alexa, play John Legend on Amazon Music in
the living room.” Explore over 2 million songs available
through Amazon Music.
