Connecting the
antenna
1 Connect the supplied antenna to the
unit.
2 Install it with pins where the unit can
obtain good reception.
• Be sure to stretch out the antenna as the
illustration shows.
• If radio reception with the supplied antenna is
not satisfactory, a commercially available
outdoor antenna may improve reception.

Note
Preparing to connect to a network
Raise the wireless antenna.
• Raise the wireless antenna on the rear panel.
Connect the unit to a router, as the
illustration shows.
• Connect using a commercially available network cable
(CAT-5 or higher straight cable).
Connecting to a wireless network
Caution
• Do not apply excessive force to the
wireless antenna.
• Do not remove the antenna.
