Advanced operation
The unit is equipped with many other functions such as tone adjustment. For more
information about operating the unit, refer to the Owners Manual (Advanced), which
can be downloaded from the Yamaha website:
1. Access the Yamaha website (http://download.yamaha.com/) with a web browser.
2. Select your country or region.
3. Type WXA-50 or WXC-50 (model name) in the blank of “Search by Model Name”.
4. Click “Search” button.
5. Download the Owner’s Manual displayed on “Search Results”.
Bluetooth
Problem Cause Remedy
Cannot make the unit pair with
a Bluetooth device.
The Bluetooth device does not support
A 2 D P.
Use a Bluetooth device that supports A2DP.
The unit and the Bluetooth device are too
far apart.
Move the Bluetooth device closer to the unit.
The unit enters Standby mode. Turn on the unit and select Bluetooth as the input
source, and then perform pairing with the device.
Another Bluetooth device is already
connected to the unit.
Terminate the current Bluetooth connection and
then establish a new connection.

An error occurred during firmware updating. For more
information about updating the firmware, refer to the
Owner’s Manual (Advanced) that can be downloaded
from the Yamaha website.
Slow flashing (every 1
second)
Twice An error is occurring with the USB device.
3 times An error is occurring with the network.
5 times An error is occurring with WAC/WPS/CONNECT.
Repeated until the unit is
turned off
Firmware update failed. Update the firmware again.

Orange Flashing Twice The remote control IDs of the unit and the remote
control are not identical, or reception of the remote
control signal is disabled. For more information
about setting the remote control, refer to the Owner’s
Manual (Advanced) that can be downloaded from the
Yamaha website.
White Slow flashing after
turning on the power
10 times A new firmware update is available. For more
information about updating the firmware, refer to the
Owner’s Manual (Advanced) that can be downloaded
from the Yamaha website.
