The actual installation steps and the use of the software itself differs depending on the operating system that you
are using. Please refer to the appropriate installation instructions.
1 Verify that your system (Cubase series) meets the operating requirements of the YC-3B
program.
2 Install the YC-3B to your computer.
3 Start up the YC-3B on the VST3 host application such as the Cubase series.
For subsequent operations, refer to the Owner’s Manual.
• These are basically the same as those of the Cubase series (version 5.1.1 or later Cubase 5/Cubase Studio 5,
and Cubase Essential 5/Cubase AI 5) as a host application.
n The YC-3B doesn’t work with the Cubase 4 series.
• For Mac, only OS 10.5 or later with Intel CPU is supported.
• To activate your software license, install the application while the computer is connected to the Internet.
Follow the instructions below to install the YC-3B programs.
Windows
1 After the downloaded compressed file is properly extracted, double-click the “Install YC-3B
32bit.exe” / “Install YC-3B 64bit.exe” file.
The YC-3B setup dialog appears.
n Make sure to log on to the “Administrator” account before installing YC-3B.
n If you use Windows Vista or later and the “User Account Control” window appears, click [Continue] or [Yes].
2 Follow the on-screen instructions to install the software.
Mac
1 After the downloaded compressed file is properly extracted, double-click the “Install YC-
3B.pkg” file.
The YC-3B setup dialog appears.
2 Follow the on-screen instructions to install the software.
After the software installation is completed, you can start the YC-3B on the VST3 host application such as Cubase
series. The instruction is same as that of the conventional VST Instrument. For details, refer to the manual of the
host application.
n Activation with the license activation code attached to the product is necessary after installation is completed. For more information,
please refer to the URL where you downloaded this software.
