Cooling water/engine temperature
display
The cooling water/engine temperature indi-
cator ( ) comes on and the cooling
water temperature or the engine tempera-
ture is shown in 6 levels.
When the engine overheats, the cooling
water/engine temperature indicator ( )
blinks to warn of the malfunction.
CAUTION:
• When the overheat warning comes on,
turn the engine off and check the cool-
ing water inlet for clogs.
• If you cannot locate and correct the
cause, consult a Yamaha dealer.
NOTE:
The cooling water/engine temperature dis-
play shows “L” for low and “H” for high.
