Common Functions in all pages
n Parameters to be edited differ depending on the assigned
Effect and Software Tone Generator.
n Additional operations other than those listed above are
available. For details, refer to the relevant documentation of
DAW remote control you are using.
When controlling LogicStudio
A specific function has been assigned to each page. Use the
[SELECTED PART CONTROL] and [MULTI PART CONTROL] button
to select the desired page.

Buttons Functions
[SF1] Save Executes the Save operation.
[SF2] Revert Reverts to the status they had when the data
was saved last.
[SF3] Undo Executes the Undo operation.
[SF4] Redo Executes the Redo operation.

[SF1] SoloDef Sets Solo for all channels to off.

[SF1] Send (Multi Channel View)

Parameter View)
Assigns the settings related to
the Send Effect to the knobs on
the MOTIF XF. This applies to the
two View types listed at left.
Cursor buttons [L]/[M]
(Multi Channel View)
Changes the Slot Number.
Knobs 1 – 8 [ENTER] Edits each of the parameters.
When setting the Send
destination, turn the knob to
select it (indication flashes), then
press the [ENTER] button to
actually enter the selected
setting.
[ENTER] (with the cursor on any
channel; when the edit parameter
is Send Level)
Resets the parameter value to
the default.
[ENTER] (with the cursor on any
channel; when the edit parameter
is PRE/POST or Mute)
Changes the setup.
Call up the Cursor page, then
press the [SF1] E/[SF2] F (Multi
Channel View)
Changes the parameter to be
edited.
Call up the Cursor page, then
press the [SF1] E/[SF2] F (Track
Parameter View)
Switches between SEND 1/2 and
SEND 3/4.

Assigns the settings related to
the Inserted Effect to the knobs
on the MOTIF XF. That is
enabled in two View types
described at left.

on the MOTIF XF. That is
enabled in two View types
described at left.

desired instrument for insertion

the [ENTER] button to actually
enter the selected setting.

channel to which the instrument is
assigned.)
Calls up the parameter page and
opens the Editor window on
Logic.
