Buttons/Knobs Functions
[F2] Pan/Srnd (Multi Channel View)
[F2] Pan/Srnd  [F2] Pan/Srnd (Track
Parameter View about Pan/Surround)
Assigns the parameters of the
each channel’s pan to the knobs
on the MOTIF XF. That is
enabled in two View types
described at left.
Knobs 1 – 8 Edits each of the parameters.
[ENTER] (with the cursor on any
channel.)
Resets the parameter value to
the default.

Scrolls through the track indication on the LCD

[SF1] Flip Assigns the function of the Channel Knob to
the Fader.
[F6] Shift + [SF1] Flip Exchanges the functions between the Channel
Knobs and the Faders.
[SF3] Name/Val Changes the indication of the parameter name
and its value.

Changes the Level Meter display mode.

[F1] MIDI TR Makes the Global View mode active and
displays the MIDI track with the Multi Channel
View.
[F2] Inputs Makes the Global View mode active and
displays the AUDIO INPUT object with the Multi
Channel View.
[F3] Audio TR Makes the Global View mode active and
displays the Audio track with the Multi Channel
View.
[F4] Audio Inst Makes the Global View mode active and
displays the Audio Instrument track with the
Multi Channel View.
[F5] Global View Switches between the Global view mode and
Track View mode.
[SF1] Aux Makes the Global View mode active and
displays the AUX object with the Multi Channel
View.
[SF2] Busses Makes the Global View mode active and
displays the BUS object with the Multi Channel
View.
[SF3] Outputs Makes the Global View mode active and
displays the AUDIO OUTPUT object with the
Multi Channel View.
[SF4] User Selects all eight tracks in the DAW Software.
[F6] Shift + [SF4] User Scrolls through the track indication.

[F4] Solo Turns Solo on or off.
[SF1] Nudge Turns Nudge on or off.

[SF2] Drop Turns Drop (Punch In/Out Record) on or off.
[SF3] Click Turns Click on or off.

Scrolls through the track indication on the LCD
of the MOTIF XF every eight channels.
[SF3] Scrub Turns Scrub on or off. When Scrub is on, the dial
can be used for Scrub playback. When Scrub is
off, the dial is used to move the song position.
