RESETTING THIS UNIT

You can restore the factory settings of this unit.
Before restoring the factory settings, note the following.
• All of the settings that have default settings are set to the default
settings.
• Once the factory settings are restored, the previous settings
made by the user cannot be recalled.
■ Resetting using the keys on this unit
Follow the procedure below to restore the factory settings
using the keys on this unit.
1 Press repeatedly until the initial display
appears.
2 Press .
The menu screen appears.
3 Press or to select “Settings”, and then
press .
The “Settings” menu appears.
4 Press or to select “Restore Settings”.

If you forgot the password, enter the master password
(page 21).
5 Press .
The “Restore Settings” menu appears.
6 Select “Yes” or “Leave Address Book” and
press .
The setups of the system are reset, and this unit
restarts automatically.

If you select “Leave Address Book”, the data in the Address
Book is retained.
■ To cancel resetting
In step 5, press , or press or to select “No” and
then press .
