If the input is above the Threshold value and
below –18 dB, the output is set to –18 dB. If
the input is above the Threshold value and
above –18 dB, the output level is adjusted
by the Ratio value.
If the noise gate is on, the volume is adjusted so
that input and output are the same level at –60
dB, and then adjusted so that the output is –18
dB when it reaches the Threshold value.
If the input is above the Threshold value and
below –18 dB, the output is set to –18 dB.
If the input is above the Threshold value and
above –18 dB, the output level is adjusted by the
Ratio value.
a AGC [ON] button
Switches the AGC function between enabled and disabled.
b [INPUT] level meter
Shows the input signal level.
c [COMPENSATION LEVEL] knob
Specifies the amount of gain compensation. Higher settings will produce more
compensation. Please note that it might not be possible to maintain a constant output
level if this value is changed suddenly.
d [RESPONSE TIME] knob
Specifies the response speed for gain compensation. This applies to compensation that
raises the gain; it is the time required for a 6 dB increase. It does not affect compensation
that lowers the gain.
e NOISE GATE [ON] button
Switches the noise gate between enabled and disabled.
