Der Umgang mit Diskettenlaufwerk (Floppy Disk Drive, FDD) und Disketten Dieses Instrument hat ein eingebautes Diskettenlaufwerk (an der Vorderseite). Dadurch haben Sie die Möglichkeit, eigene Daten, die Sie am Instrument erzeugt haben, auf Diskette zu speichern und Daten von Diskette auf das Instrument zu laden. Aufbau Dieser Abschnitt enthält Informationen zur Vorbereitung des DGX-500/300 auf den Spielbetrieb. Lesen Sie den Abschnitt daher vor Gebrauch des Instruments bitte aufmerksam durch. Stromversorgung Obwohl das DGX-500/300 wahlweise mit einem Netzadapter oder mit Batterien betrieben werden kann, empfiehlt Yamaha, möglichst einen Netzadapter zu verwenden. Netzstrom ist eine umwelt- und ressourcenfreundlichere Energiequelle, als Batterien es sind.
Aufbau Einschalten des Instruments Zum Einschalten drücken Sie nach dem Anschließen des Netzadapters (bzw. Einlegen der Batterien) den Netzschalter, bis er in der ON-Position einrastet. Vergessen Sie nach Gebrauch nicht, das Instrument wieder auszuschalten. (Drücken Sie den Schalter hierzu erneut, so daß er wieder ausrastet.) VORSICHT • Auch in der „STANDBY“-Stellung des Schalters wird das Instrument minimal mit Strom versorgt.

Kurzanleitung SCHRITT 2 Spielen mithilfe der Musikdatenbank Sie möchten Musik in Ihrer bevorzugten Musikrichtung spielen, sind sich aber nicht sicher, welche die beste Voice und welches der richtige „Style“ für die gewünschte Musikrichtung ist … wählen Sie einfach den gewünschten Style aus der Musikdatenbank aus. Die Bedienfeldeinstellungen des PSR-450 werden automatisch auf die ideale Kombination von Sounds (Voices) und Style eingestellt! Musikdatenbank 1 Drücken Sie die [M.D.B.]-Taste.
Kurzanleitung SCHRITT 2 • Spielen mithilfe der Musikdatenbank 3 Die Style-Wiedergabe beginnt, wenn Sie in der linken Hand einen Akkord spielen. HINWEIS Spielen Sie zum Beispiel einen C-Dur-Akkord. • Die Bereiche für die linke und die rechte Hand sind auf der Tastatur durch den so genannten „Splitpunkt“ getrennt (Seite 28). Splitpunkt 4 Während Sie die Noten lesen, spielen Sie die Akkorde mit Ihrer linken Hand und die Melodie mit der rechten.
Kurzanleitung SCHRITT 3 Wiedergabe mit einem Style Dieses Instrument besitzt eine automatische Begleitfunktion (Style), mit deren Hilfe vollständige Begleitungen auf Grundlage der Akkorde erzeugt werden können, die Sie in der linken Hand spielen. Sie haben die Auswahl aus 140 verschiedenen musikalischen Stilrichtungen (Styles). Die mitgelieferte Diskette enthält ebenfalls Style-Dateien, die Sie in das PSR-450 laden und als Style Nr. 141 verwenden können, genau wie die internen Styles.

HINWEIS • Der Tastaturbereich für die Begleitung und der „Melodiebereich“ für die rechte Hand sind durch den Splitpunkt voneinander getrennt. Wählen Sie einfach die Voice Nr. „000“, um diese Funktion einzuschalten. 1 Drücken Sie die [VOICE]-Taste und verwenden Sie die Zifferntasten oder die Tasten [+] und [–], um die Voice Nr. „000“ auszuwählen.

Wenn Sie zum Beispiel die Voice-Nummer 126 auswählen, können Sie akustischen Bass in der linken und Flügel in der rechten Hand spielen.
Kurzanleitung SCHRITT 4 • Ausprobieren der verschiedenen Voices (Instrumentenstimmen) Spielen zweier Voices gleichzeitig (Dual Voice) Wenn Sie die Taste [DUAL] drücken, um den Dual-Voice-Modus eizuschalten, können Sie eine zweite Voice spielen, die als so genanntes „Layer“ der HauptVoice überlagert wird. Die zweite Voice wird „Dual Voice“ genannt, während die ursprüngliche Voice als „Haupt-Voice“ bezeichnet wird. Diese Anzeige erscheint, wenn die Dual Voice eigeschaltet ist.
Kurzanleitung SCHRITT 5 Spielen mit einer Vielzahl von Effekten Tonhöhenänderung mit dem Pitch-Bend-Rad Das [PITCH BEND]-Rad wird benutzt, um stufenlose Tonübergänge zwischen Noten zu erzeugen, die Sie auf der Tastatur spielen. Drehen Sie das Rad nach vorn, um die Tonhöhe anzuheben, oder nach hinten, um die Tonhöhe nach unten zu verschieben. Wenn Sie das Rad loslassen, kehrt es automatisch in die Mittenposition zurück, und die Tonhöhe ist wieder normal.

Kurzanleitung SCHRITT 6 Aufnehmen Ihres Spiels Im Song-Speicher können Sie bis zu 5 verschiedene Songs aufnehmen (SongNummern 006 ~ 010: User 1 ~ 5). Aufgenommene Songs können genau wie die voreingestellten Songs abgespielt werden. Jeder User-Song kann mithilfe von 6 Spuren aufgenommen werden. ● Melodie-Spuren [1]–[5] Auf diesen Spuren werden die melodischen bzw. tonalen Parts aufgenommen. ● Begleitungsspur [A] Auf der Style-Spur werden die Akkorde der linken Hand und die Begleitung aufgenommen.
Kurzanleitung SCHRITT 6 • Aufnehmen Ihres Spiels Schritt 1-2. Drücken Sie Taste [A] bei gehaltener [REC]-Taste. blinkt im Display. rEC User 2 HINWEIS • Wenn die Style-Spur für die Aufnahme ausgewählt wird, wird automatisch die Begleitung eingeschaltet. • Nach Beginn der Aufnahme kann die Begleitautomatik nicht mehr ein- oder ausgeschaltet werden. • Wenn eine Split-Voice ausgewählt wird, werden Noten tiefer als der Splitpunkt nicht aufgenommen.
Kurzanleitung SCHRITT 6 • Aufnehmen Ihres Spiels Löschen von User-Song-Daten Daten, die in den User-Songs aufgenommen wurden (Song-Nummern 006 ~ 010) können gelöscht werden, wenn diese nicht mehr benötigt werden. Es stehen zwei Methoden zum Löschen von Song-Daten zur Verfügung: „Song Clear“ löscht alle Daten des angegebenen Songs, „Track Clear“ löscht die Daten der angegebenen Spur eines Songs.

Grundsätzliche Bedienung und LCD-Anzeige (Display) Anzeige von Name und Nummer (Song, Style oder Voice) Der momentan ausgewählte Name und die Nummer (Song, Style oder Voice) erscheinen hier. Aufruf einer der Betriebsarten (Song, Style oder Voice) ● Wenn z.B. ein Song ausgewählt ist: Song-Nummer Durch Drücken einer der Tasten unterhalb rufen Sie den entsprechenden Modus auf – Song, Style oder Voice, und die Markierung im Display zegit den momentan ausgewählten Modus an.
Grundsätzliche Bedienung und LCD-Anzeige (Display) Notation Taktanzeige Zeigt die Melodie und Akkordnoten eines Songs an, wenn die Easy-Performer-Funktion aktiv ist, oder die Noten von Akkorden, die Sie bei Benutzung der Dictionary-Funktion angeben. Bei allen anderen Gelegenheiten werden die Noten angezeigt, die Sie auf der Tastatur spielen. Zeigt die aktuelle Taktnummer des Songs oder Styles oder den Metronomschlag an. “F t“ erscheint, wenn ein Song mit dreiem Tempo ausgewählt wird.

Die hier aufgeführten Daten werden gesichert – d. h. im Speicher gehalten – solange ein Netzteil angeschlossen oder ein Batteriesatz installiert ist.
Spielfunktionen Anschlagsempfindlichkeit für dynamisches Tastaturspiel Touch Response On/Off Mit der Taste [TOUCH] können Sie die Touch-Response-Funktion ein- oder ausschalten. Wenn die Anschlagsdynamik eingeschaltet ist, können Sie die Lautstärke von Noten steuern, je nachdem, wie stark Sie die Tasten anschlagen. Zeigt an, dass die Touch-Funktion eingeschaltet ist Drücken Sie die Taste [TOUCH] nochmals, um Touch Response auszuschalten.
Spielfunktionen Tonhöhe in Halbtonschritten nach oben oder unten transponieren Mit dieser Funktion können Sie die Gesamttonhöhe des Instruments in Halbtonschritten transponieren. 1 Wählen Sie mit der Taste [LEFT MENU] den Eintrag TRANSPOSE. Aktuelle Transponierungseinstellung 00 TRANSPOS HINWEIS 2 Benutzen Sie die Zifferntasten [0] ~ [9] oder die Tasten [+] und [–], um die Transposition von –12 ~ 12 (in Halbtonschritten) wie gewünscht einzustellen.
Spielen von Style- (Begleit-)Akkorden Wenn die Taste [ACMP ON/OFF] benutzt wurde, um die Style-Begleitung einzuschalten, können die folgenden Akkorde im Tastaturbereich für die Begleitung gespielt werden (links vom Splitpunkt), um eine Begleitung zu erzeugen. ● ● Einfache Akkorde mit 1 ~ 3 Fingern. Volle Akkorde mit allen zugehörigen Tasten (Fingern). HINWEIS • Alle Akkordfingersätze werden hier mit C als Grundton angegeben. Der vorgegebene Splitpunkt ist 54 (F#2).

Spielen von Style- (Begleit-)Akkorden Nachschlagen von Akkorden im Akkordbuch Wenn Sie den Akkordnamen kennen, jedoch nicht sicher sind, welche Tasten auf der Tastatur gespielt werden müssen, können Sie dies mithilfe der „Dictionary“Funktion (Akkordbuch) nachschlagen. 1 Drücken Sie die [Dict.]-Taste. Dict. 2 Lassen Sie uns für dieses Beispiel den Akkord GM7 nachschlagen. Suchen Sie die Tasten (Beschriftung unterhalb der Tastatur) und drücken Sie die Taste G (es erklingt kein Ton).
Spielen von Style- (Begleit-)Akkorden ■ Über Akkorde Indem Sie zwei oder mehr Noten gleichzeitig spielen, erzeugen Sie einen „Akkord“. Wenn Sie eine Note zusammen mit zwei weiteren Noten spielen, die jeweils zwei Noten höher liegen (wie die Noten C, E und G), entsteht ein so genannter harmonischer „Dreiklang“. Diese Dreiklänge spielen in den meisten Musikrichtungen eine bedeutende Rolle. 3. Grund 3. Im obigen Beispiel wird die untere Note des Dreiklangs als „Grundton“ bezeichnet.

Easy Performer Spielen mit dem Easy Performer Mit dem Easy Performer können Sie Songs, die Sie noch nicht beherrschen, leichter spielen. Wenn der Easy performer eingeschaltet ist, können Melodie oder Begleitung stumm geschaltet werden, so dass Sie nur einen Part davon spielen können. Und der Easy Performer korrigiert falsch gespielte Noten für Sie, so langen Sie auf der Tastatur im richtigen Rhythmus (Tempo/Timing) spielen.
Easy Performer 4 Stoppen Sie die Wiedergabe. Drücken Sie die [START/STOP]-Taste. ● Spurenauswahl Wenn Sie einen Song von Diskette mit dem Easy Performer benutzen, können Sie die stumm zu schaltende Spur auswählen (den Part, den Sie spielen möchten). Führen Sie nach dem Schritt 1 – „ Wählen Sie den Song aus, den Sie spielen möchten.“ – auf Seite 50 Folgendes aus.
Speichern der Bedienfeld-Einstellungen (Panel Settings) Die aktuellen Bedienfeldeinstellungen (Voice, Style und andere Einstellungen des Instruments) können jederzeit gespeichert und bei Bedarf abgerufen werden. Es lassen sich bis zu 16 Panel Settings speichern – auf 8 Bänken mit je 2 Speicherplätzen.

In diesen Fällen erscheinen die Noten nicht in der Noten- oder Tastaturdarstellung, stattdessen sehen Sie das Symbol zusammen mit einem Pfeil , der anzeigt, ob die Noten ober- oder unterhalb des Notenbereichs des PSR-450 liegen.

Wenn Sie Song-Daten des PSR-450 im SMF-Format 0 speichern möchten, führen Sie die folgenden Schritte aus, nachdem Sie Schritt 2 auf Seite 55 ausgeführt haben.

Beenden Sie den Formatierungsmodus durch Drücken der Taste [UTILITY]. e Führen Sie den Formatierungsvorgang aus. Drücken Sie die Taste [+/YES], um die Formatierung zu starten.

MIDI-Funktionen Das PSR-450 ist MIDI-kompatibel. Es verfügt über einen MIDI-IN- und einen MIDI-OUTAnschluss und unterstützt eine Vielzahl von MIDI-relevanten Einstellungen. Mit Hilfe der MIDI-Funktionen können Sie Ihre musikalischen Möglichkeiten wesentlich erweitern. In diesem Abschnitt finden Sie eine Definition und Beschreibung von MIDI sowie Erklärungen zum Einsatz von MIDI auf dem PSR-450.
MIDI-Funktionen MIDI ist eine Abkürzung und steht für „Musical Instrument Digital Interface“ (Digitale Schnittstelle für Musikinstrumente). Über diese Schnittstelle können elektronische Musikinstrumente untereinander kommunizieren, indem sie Noten-, Controller- oder Programmwechsel-Events sowie verschiedene andere MIDI-Eventtypen oder Nachrichten senden und empfangen (Event = Ereignis, Controller = Spielhilfe bzw. Regler-Event).
MIDI-Funktionen Anschließen an einen Computer Wenn Sie das PSR-450 an einen Computer anschließen, können Sie PSR-450Daten auf dem Computer aufzeichnen und verwalten, und Spieldaten vom Computer empfangen, die dann mit dem PSR-450 wiedergegeben werden. ● Die USB-Buchse des Computers und die MIDI-Buchsen am PSR-450 werden mit einem USB-MIDI Interface verbunden.
MIDI-Funktionen 2 Wählen Sie den Local-Einstellungsmodus. Drücken Sie die Zifferntaste [1] zur Auswahl von „LOCAL“. on LOCAL 3 Schalten Sie „Local“ ein oder aus. Fehlerbehebung 131 Symptom Ursache Lösung Ein „Popgeräusch“ tritt auf, wenn der Schalter [STANDBY/ON] gedrückt wird, um das Instrument einzuschalten. Der Einschaltstrom fließt in das Instrument. Dies ist normal und sollte Sie nicht beunruhigen. •Die Lautstärke ist geringer geworden. •Die Klangqualität hat abgenommen. •Die Rhythmusbegleitung stoppt. •Aufgenommene Song-Daten werden nicht richtig wiedergegeben. •Das Display verschwindet plötzlich, und die Bedienfeldeinstellungen werden zurückgesetzt.

This means that it can play a maximum of up to 32 notes at once, regardless of what functions are used. Style uses a number of the available notes, so when Style is used the total number of available notes for playing on the keyboard is correspondingly reduced.
