Selecting and/or Creating a Temperament (Scale Tune)
The Sub Scale setting you make (using the SCALE TUNE SETTING buttons and in the Scale Tune display) can be mem-
orized to the SCALE TUNE MEMORY buttons for instant recall.
1 Set up the settings of Sub Scale as desired, using the SCALE
TUNE SETTING buttons and the parameters in the Scale Tune
display.
2 While holding the SCALE TUNE MEMORY [MEMORY] button,
press one of the SCALE TUNE MEMORY [1]–[5] buttons (the
desired one for memorizing the Sub Scale setting).
The corresponding SCALE TUNE MEMORY button lights. Any data that was pre-
viously in the selected location is erased and replaced by the new Sub Scale setting.
3 Memorize the Sub Scale settings to the other buttons by repeat-
ing steps 1 and 2.
The memorized Sub Scale settings can be recalled by simply pressing the desired
number button.
Memorizing the Sub Scale Setting
The data memorized are the name, on/
off, tuning values and enabled parts of
Sub Scale Tune.
NOTE
About the lamp status of the [1]–[5] buttons
On: Data registered and currently selected
Off: No data registered, or not currently selected
The [BYPASS] button lights up when Bypass is on.
NOTE
The scale settings memorized to
the numbered button will be lost
if you turn the power to the instru-
ment off without carrying out the
Save operation (see below).
