Basic Operations and Display Items
Basic operations
This instrument features four basic functions: Voice, Style, Song/Audio and Groove Creator. To use this instru-
ment, select a basic function first, and then select the desired data to use for your performance.
1 Select the desired function by pressing
one of the [VOICE], [SONG/AUDIO],
[GROOVE CREATOR], and [STYLE] but-
tons.
When you select a basic function, the current set-
ting value for the selected function will be shown.
2 Select the desired data (Voice, Style,
Song/Audio or Groove).
The data can be selected by one of the following
methods.
• By using the dial
• By selecting a category (only for Voices
and Styles)
• By inputting the number directly
For details on each operation, refer to “Selecting
Data” on page 21.
3 Press the [START/STOP] to start play-
back of Style, Song, Audio or Groove.
4 Play the keyboard with the selected
Voic e .

Only one of the Style, Song/Audio, Groove Creator function
can be used. The lamp (located beside the TRACK CON-
TROL buttons) of the currently selected function lights up.
NOTE
Press the [START/STOP] button again to stop playback.
You can also use the One Touch Setting (OTS) function
(page 25) to call up the optimum panel settings (Voice,
tempo, etc.) for selected Song, Style, or Groove.
