Deleting Samples from USB Flash
Drive

While holding down the [SHIFT] button,
press the [FUNCTION] button to call up
the File Control display.

Rotate the dial until “Del SMPL” is
shown on the display.

Press the [ENTER] button.
When there are no samples in USB flash drive,
“NoFile” is shown instead and return to the dis-
play of step 2 above.

Select a file to delete by rotating the dial.

Press the [ENTER] button again.
“Del OK?” is shown on the display. Press the
[EXIT] button to cancel deleting and return to the
display of step 2 above.

Press the [ENTER] button once again to
execute the Delete operation.
“Deleting” is briefly shown on the display and the
sample is deleted.

Press the [FUNCTION] button to exit
from the File Control display.
Deleting Audio Files from USB
Flash Drive

While holding down the [SHIFT] button,
press the [FUNCTION] button to call up
the File Control display.

Rotate the dial until “DelAUDIO” is
shown on the display.

Press the [ENTER] button.
Audio files on the USB flash drive are shown as
“AUDIO***” (***: number) on the display. Select a
file to delete by rotating the dial.

Press the [ENTER] button again.
“Del OK?” is shown on the display.
Press the [EXIT] button to cancel deleting and
return to the display of step 2 above.

Press the [ENTER] button once again to
execute the Delete operation.
“Complete” is shown on the display when deleting
is done.

Press the [FUNCTION] button to exit
from the File Control display.
• If the instrument is in the Quick Sampling mode, press the
[CAPTURE] button to exit from the mode, and then follow
the steps below.
IMPORTANT
Keep holding down.
Del SMPL
• The Delete operation cannot be cancelled during exe-
cution. Never turn off the power or disconnect the
USB flash drive during the operation. Doing so may
result in data loss.
Keep holding down.
