Problem Solution
When the instrument is turned on or off, a pop-
ping sound is temporarily produced.
This is normal and indicates that the instrument is receiving electrical power.
No Sound.
The volume is too soft.
Disconnect the headphones from [PHONES/OUTPUT] (page 6).
Check whether the Volume Limit setting (page 9) is too low or not.
Replace all the batteries with new ones or recharged ones.
The auto accompaniment of the Style does not
play.
The auto accompaniment may be muted. Press [PART MUTE].
Power suddenly and unexpectedly turns off. This is normal and the Auto Power Off function (page 9) may have been activated. If you need to dis-
able the Auto Power Off function, select “oFF.”
When the instrument is turned on, power is
turned off suddenly and unexpectedly.
The protection circuit has been activated due to overcurrent. This may occur when an AC adaptor
other than the one specified is used, or an AC adaptor is damaged. Use the specified adaptor (see
below) only. If it should appear to be malfunctioning, please consult Yamaha service personnel.
