The setups of functions for Live Control knobs (called “Assign Types”) can be changed as desired from a variety of
options.
The operation display can be called up via [MENU] [Live Control].
1 Touch to select the desired knob.
Touching it again calls up the function list.
2 Select the function for the knob.
For information about each function, refer to pages 118–119.
3 Make necessary settings of the selected function shown at the bottom of the display.
You can make detailed settings of the selected function, such as which parts are affected by the function, etc.
If you want to change the function name that appears on the Live Control pop-up window, touch [Rename] and
enter the desired name. Up to 50 characters can be used.

Hiding the pop-up window when the knob is operated
When you press the LIVE CONTROL [ASSIGN] button or rotate the knobs, the Live Control pop-up window dis-
playing the status of the parameter is shown.
You can set the pop-up window to remain hidden when the knob is rotated but shown only when the [ASSIGN] but-
ton is pressed. To do so, touch (Menu) on the Live Control display, and then set the “Popup Window” to Off.
Reset the values of all the assignable functions of Live Control
Touching [Reset Value] on the top of the Live Control display allows you to reset all value settings for the functions
that can be assigned to the knobs to the factory default values.
If you want to reset the value of the function assigned to each knob individually, press the [ASSIGN] button or rotate the knob to call up the Live Control pop-up win-
dow, and then touch [Reset] on the desired function indication.
