To
tune
in
by direct frequency tuning, press
the numeric buttons on the remote control to
enter the frequency of the station.
Enter only integers. For example,
if
you want to set
the frequency to 88.9 MHz, enter "889",
• When you press the numeric buttons on the remote control
during preset tuning, a preset number
is
selected. Set the tuning
mode to frequency tuning mode using TUNING/CH

• Improving

reception

the signal from the station is weak and the sound quality
is
not good, set the FM band reception mode to monaural
mode to improve reception.

FM MODE/INFO
1 Press FM MODE/INFO on the front panel
repeatedly to select "STEREO" (automatic
stereo mode) or "MONO" (monaural mode)
when this unit is tuned
in
to an FM radio
station.
• When MONO
is
selected, FM broadcasts will be
heard
in
monaural sound.
• When STEREO
is
selected and an FM station with
a stereo broadcast is tuned in, the broadcast will be
heard
in
stereo,

select TUNER as the input source.

Press FM or AM on the front panel (or FM or

reception band (FM or AM).
FM or AM is displayed on the front panel display.
