LISTENING TO SIRIUS Satellite Radio™
2 While the CATEGORY indicator on the front
panel display is lit, press TUNING/CH
«I >>
on the front panel (or TUN.lCH ~ I ~ on the
remote control) repeatedly to search for a
channel within the selected channel
category.
• You can search for a channel quickly by pressing and holding
TUNING/CH« I» on the front panel (or TUN.lCH ~ I ~ on
the remote control).
• In the category search mode, you can only search for a channel
within the selected channel category.
Note
This unit skips the following channels in all channel search mode
or category search mode. This is not a malfunction.
• channels that are locked (see page 32)
• channels that are not currently in service
• channels that you do not subscribe to
• Direct number access mode

Up to 40 SIRIUS Satellite Radio channels can be
registered as preset channels.

1 Press the numeric buttons on the remote
control to enter the desired three-digit
channel number.
F or example, to enter the number 123, press the
numeric buttons
"I," "2" and then "3".

• To entering a one-digit or two-digit channel number, enter the
number using the numeric buttons and then press ENTER on
the remote control to confirm your entry.
• This unit automatically accepts your entry if you do not press
ENTER on the remote control within a few seconds after
entering the number.
• If the selected channel is locked, "PIN:_" is displayed on the
front panel display. Enter the 4-digit Parental Lock code
number by using the numeric buttons or press ENTER on the
remote control to cancel (see page 32).
• If the selected channel is not available, an advisory message
may be displayed. For details, refer to "SIRIUS Satellite
Radio™'' (see page 53).
• If this unit is in preset search mode, a preset number is selected
instead of a channel number when you press the numeric
buttons on the remote control. To switch to direct number
access mode. press TUNING/CH «I» on the front panel (or
TUN.lCH ~ I ~ on the remote cuntrol).
