First insert the plug of the power cord into the [AC IN] connector on the instrument’s bottom panel, then plug the other end of the cord into the proper AC outlet on the wall. In some areas, a plug adaptor may be provided to match the pin configuration of the AC wall outlets in your area. If you plan not to use the instrument for a long period of time, be sure to unplug the instrument from the AC outlet.
ENGLISH ■ Using Headphones ■ Using the Pedals Connect a set of headphones to the [PHONES] jack. The speakers are automatically shut off when a plug is inserted into this jack. The instrument has three foot pedals that produce a range of expressive effects similar to those produced by the pedals on an acoustic piano. CAUTION Do not use headphones at a high volume for an extended period of time. Doing so may cause hearing loss.
Troubleshooting Problem Possible Cause and Solution The instrument does not turn on. The instrument has not been plugged in properly. Securely insert the female plug into the socket on the instrument, and the male plug into a proper AC outlet (page 7). A click or pop is heard when the power is turned on or off. This is normal when electrical current is being applied to the instrument. Noise is heard from the speakers or headphones.
