■ Using an external amplifier
Connect the external amplifier placed in Zone2 or Zone3 to this unit
with a stereo pin cable.
• You cannot utilize the ZONE OUT/PRE OUT jacks for connecting an external
amplifier for Zone2 or Zone3 depending on the “Power Amp Assign” setting
(p.114).
Connect the external amplifier placed in Zone4 to this unit with a
digital optical cable.
To utilize the AV OUT/ZONE 4 (digital optical) jack for Zone4, set
“Digital Out Assign” (p.125) in the “Setup” menu to “Zone4”.
