Setting the equalizer
Selects the type of equalizer to adjust the tone.
Setup menu
“Speaker” > “Parametric EQ”
Settings
Manual Adjusts the equalizer manually.
YPAO:Flat Adjusts each speaker to achieve the same characteristics.
YPAO:Front Adjusts each speaker to achieve the same characteristics as the front speakers.
YPAO:Natural Adjusts each speaker to achieve the same characteristics with lowered high frequency range.
YPAO:Low Frequency
Detects the frequency in low frequency range to be compensated.
This function does not compensate the Q factor and gain besides frequency, so that in
“Manual”, you may copy the parametric equalizer values of “YPAO:Low Frequency”, and
adjust the Q factor or gain manually.
Through Does not use the equalizer.
NOTE
Select “YPAO:Flat”, “YPAO:Front”, “YPAO:Natural” or “YPAO:Low Frequency” and press ENTER again to view the results of adjusting
the tone. These functions are available only when the YPAO measurement results have already been saved.

Adjusting the equalizer manually
You can adjust the equalizer manually. First, “Parametric EQ” in “Speaker” is set to “Manual”.
Setting range
Center frequency 15.6 Hz to 16.0 kHz (15.6 Hz to 250.0 Hz for subwoofer)
Q factor 0.500 to 10.080
Gain -20.0 dB to +6.0 dB
1 Select “Manual”.
2 Press ENTER again to enter the edit screen.
3 Select a speaker.
