- When any problem appears
- If trouble occurs, first check the following:
- Power, system, or remote control trouble
- The power does not turn on
- The power does not turn on in synchronization with the TV
- The power does not turn off
- The power turns off (standby mode) immediately
- The unit enters standby mode automatically
- The unit is not reacting
- The unit cannot be controlled using the remote control
- Cannot select the desired input source even if “INPUT” is pressed

The Yamaha Parametric room Acoustic Optimizer (YPAO) function detects speaker connections,
measures the distances from them to your listening position(s), and then automatically optimizes the
speaker settings, such as volume balance and acoustic parameters, to suit your room.
La fonction Yamaha Parametric room Acoustic Optimizer (YPAO) permet de détecter les raccordements
des enceintes et de mesurer la distance entre ces dernières et la position d’écoute. Elle optimise ensuite
automatiquement les réglages d’enceintes tels que les paramètres d’équilibre du volume et les
paramètres acoustiques qui conviennent à la pièce.
La función Yamaha Parametric room Acoustic Optimizer (YPAO) detecta las conexiones de los
altavoces, mide las distancias existentes entre los altavoces y las posiciones de escucha y, a
continuación, optimiza automáticamente los ajustes de los altavoces, como el balance de volumen y los
parámetros acústicos, para adecuarlos a la sala.
1 Turn on the subwoofer and set the volume
to half.
If the crossover frequency can be adjusted, set it to
maximum.
2 Connect the YPAO microphone to the unit.
The start-up screen is displayed on the TV.
3 Press ENTER on the remote control.
The measurement will start in 10 seconds.
It takes about 3 minutes to measure.
The measurement results screen is displayed on the TV
when the measurement finishes.
4 Confirm the results displayed on the TV
and press ENTER on the remote control.
5 Use the cursor keys (e/r) on the remote
control to select “Save” and press ENTER
on the remote control.
6 Disconnect the YPAO microphone from the
unit.
1 Allumez le caisson de basses et réglez le
volume à moitié.

Débranchez le microphone YPAO de l’appareil.
1 Encienda el altavoz de subgraves y ajuste
su volumen a la mitad.
Si se puede ajustar la frecuencia de cruce, establézcala
en el máximo.
2 Conecte el micrófono YPAO a la unidad.
En el televisor se muestra la pantalla de inicio.
3 Pulse ENTER en el mando a distancia.

pulse ENTER en el mando a distancia.
6 Desconecte el micrófono YPAO de la
unidad.
Note the following regarding YPAO measurement
• Do not let children or pets into the room as test tones are
output at high volume. (Test tone volume cannot be adjusted.)
• Keep the room as quiet as possible.
• Avoid becoming an obstacle between speakers and the YPAO
microphone.

If an error message (such as E-1) or warning message (such as W-2) is displayed,
resolve the problem.
Si un message d’erreur (par exemple E-1) ou un message d’avertissement (par
