Saving/Loading Data (File Mode)
Loading the settings from a
USB storage device
1 Connect a USB storage device to the USB TO
DEVICE terminal of this instrument.

Press the [FILE] button to enter the File mode.
The File Select display appears.
3 Select “Load” by using the cursor buttons
then press the [ENTER] button.
The internal flash memory and USB storage device are
shown on the File Load display.
4 Select the USB storage device by using the
Cursor [U]/[D] buttons then press the
[ENTER] button.
The root directory of the USB storage device is shown.
If there is a folder or directory in the USB storage device,
move the path by using the Cursor [R] button.
5 Select “.X2A” as the extension then press the
[ENTER] button.
The loadable data types are shown and one of them can be
selected.
6 Select the desired data type then press the
[ENTER] button.
To load all the Voices or Performances to all the internal User
Banks, select “Voice” or “Performance” then press the
[ENTER] button. To load a specific Voice Bank or
Performance Bank, select “Voice” or “Performance,” press
the Cursor [R] button, select the desired Bank, and then
press the [ENTER] button.
7 Press the [ENTER] button again after the
confirmation display is shown.
