Unsupported
card
It may be that an
unsupported Mini-YGDAI
card is inserted in the slot,
or that the inserted Mini-
YGDAI card has
malfunctioned.
Replace the card with a
supported Mini-YGDAI card.
Fault Continual
Amplifier problem
Fan failed[Ch*] Fan failed[*]
The channel * cooling fan
has stopped.
Check whether dirt or a foreign
object could have clogged the
fan, and clean the fan
appropriately. If this does not
solve the problem, it is likely that
the device has malfunctioned.
Immediately stop using the unit,
and contact your Yamaha dealer.
Fault Continual
——
DC output
detected[Ch*]
DC detected[*]
Since a direct current
component was detected
in the speaker output, the
power amp’s power supply
has been shut down.
It is likely that the device has
malfunctioned; immediately stop
using the unit, and contact your
Yamaha dealer.
Fault Continual
——
DC output
detected
—100
The power supply was
shut down because d.c.
was detected on a speaker
output.
Fault Continual
——
PSU
temperature too
high[Ch*]
PSU temp
high[*]
The channel * power
supply sections
temperature is abnormally
high, so the fan is rotating
at high speed.
The power supply section may
malfunction if you continue using
the unit in this condition.
Immediately stop using the unit,
or lower the output level.
Warning Continual
——
Fan speed
changed[**]
Fan speed[**]
The temperature of the
amp section (heat sink)
has changed, and the fan
speed is now **.
** L: Very low speed,
M: low speed,
H: medium speed,
VH: high speed
Continuous high-power output
will cause high temperatures, so
please lower the output level. If
the temperature is still high,
check whether dirt or a foreign
object could have clogged the
cooling fan, and clean the fan if
necessary.
Information
Single
Speaker output
level[****]
SP out lvl[****] 106
The temperature of the
amp section (head sink)
has changed, and the
speaker output is now
±0dB/-1dB/-2dB/muted.
Warning Single
——
Line voltage
error
Line v error
Since the power supply
voltage is outside the rated
range, the amplifier’s power
supply did not turn on.
Verify that the power supply
voltage is the specified voltage.
Fault Continual
——
Output current
too high[Ch*]
Curr too high[*]
There was a continuous
high current flow at the
channel * speaker output
connector, so the limiter
has operated.
Make sure that the speaker
impedance does not get too low.
Information
Continual
——
VHF detected
[Ch*]
VHF detected[*]
High-frequency
components were detected
in the audio output, so the
high-frequency component
of the output signal was
limited.
Use a filter to cut the high-
frequency component before the
signal goes to the amplifier.
Warning Continual
Speaker output
shorted[Ch*]
SP out short[*] 105
A short was detected in
the speaker output
connector, so the output
signal has been muted.
It may be that the speaker output
connector’s “+” and “–” are
shorted, or that the connected
speaker has malfunctioned.
Fault Single
——
Speaker output
clipped[Ch*]
SP out clip[*]
The speaker output of
channel * has clipped, so
the limiter has operated.
Lower the output level.
Information
Single
——
Output power is
limited[Ch*]
Pwr limited[*]
The output power of
channel * has exceeded
the rated value, so the
limiter has operated.
Information
Continual
——
Output voltage is
limited[Ch*]
Vltg limited[*]
The output voltage of
channel * has exceeded
the rated value, so the
limiter has operated.
