For shifting the pitch of the keyboard up or down
by one octave.
Value: -2 – +2
Default: Depends on the Voice

BATTERY TYPE
Selects the type of batteries installed to this instrument. Low pitch beep indicates “dry
cell,” high pitch indicates “rechargeable.”
Settings: Dry cell (for alkaline, manganese batteries) / Rechargeable (for rechargeable Ni-MH
batteries)
Default: Dry cell

AUTO POWER OFF
Specifies the time that elapses before the instrument’s power is automatically turned off.
Low pitch beep indicates “off,” high pitch indicates “on.”
Settings: On (30 minutes), Off
Default: On (30 minutes)

TUNING
You can fine-tune the pitch of the entire
instrument in roughly 0.2 Hz steps.
Value: 427.0 Hz to 453.0 Hz (-65 cents to 65 cents)
Default: 440.0 Hz (00)
NOTE
Tuning does not affect the Drum Voices (page 36).

TOUCH RESPONSE
Specifies the degree of touch sensitivity (how
the sound responds to your playing strength).
Default: Medium
Fix: Variation in key touches does not
produce change in output notes.

Soft: Slight variation in key touches

Medium: Moderate variation in key
touches produces change in output
notes.

Hard: Large enough variation in key
touches produces change in output
notes.

USB MIDI
Switches MIDI transmission/reception on and off. Low pitch beep indicates “off,” high
pitch indicates “on.”
Default: Off (when equipped with Bluetooth functionality)
On (when not equipped with Bluetooth functionality)
NOTE
MIDI data will be transmitted/received via Bluetooth when this is set to Off.
Refer to page 9 to check whether or not your keyboard is equipped with Bluetooth functionality.
