Connections Connect to a TV (or other peripheral device). Digital connection of an external device You can connect an external device that has a coaxial digital audio output, such as a DVD player, to the BD/DVD input jack of the unit. Listening to the sound from a Bluetooth device You can play back wirelessly from Bluetooth devices, such as a smartphone or digital music player. See also the operating manual of the Bluetooth device for more details. Pairing a Bluetooth device with the unit When connecting to a Bluetooth device for the first time, “pairing” between the device and unit is required. “Pairing” is necessary for each Bluetooth device you use.
Playing back audio from a Bluetooth device on the unit Using the Bluetooth standby mode 1 1 With the unit turned on, press the BLUETOOTH key on the unit’s remote control to select Bluetooth as the input source. The BLUETOOTH indicator on the front panel flashes. The Bluetooth standby mode allows you to turn on (or off) the unit automatically, linked with the operation of the Bluetooth device.
Settings 4-2 While pointing your TV’s remote control at the remote control sensor, hold down the mute key for more than 1 second twice or three times. Setting the auto power standby function By enabling the auto power standby function, you can avoid forgetting to turn off the unit after use, or if you fall asleep while watching TV. NOTE • When the auto power standby function is enabled and one of the following conditions is met, the unit will automatically turn off. − No operations for 8 hours − No audio input and no operations for 20 minutes when BLUETOOTH is selected as the input source.
Troubleshooting Refer to the table below when the unit does not function properly. If the problem you are experiencing is not listed below or if the instructions below do not help, turn off the unit, disconnect the power cable, and contact the nearest authorized Yamaha dealer or service center. First, check the following: A The power cables of the unit, TV and playback devices (such as BD players) are connected to AC wall outlets securely.
No sound is coming from the subwoofer. The volume of the subwoofer is too low. Turn up the volume of the subwoofer (p.8). The playback source does not contain low-frequency signals. Play back a sound source containing low-frequency signals, and confirm that the sound is output from the subwoofer. The volume decreases when the unit is turned on. The automatic volume adjustment function worked.
Bluetooth No sound is produced or the sound is interrupted during playback. The Bluetooth connection of the unit with the device is disconnected. Perform Bluetooth connection operations again (p.10). Jumelage d’un appareil Bluetooth avec le système La première fois que vous connectez ce système à un appareil Bluetooth, vous devez « jumeler » les deux équipements. Il est nécessaire de « jumeler » tous les appareils Bluetooth que vous utilisez.
Lecture du son d’un appareil Bluetooth sur le système Utilisation du mode veille Bluetooth 1 Le mode veille Bluetooth permet de mettre automatiquement sous ou hors tension le système, en liaison avec l’utilisation de l’appareil Bluetooth. Lorsque le système est sous tension, appuyez sur la touche BLUETOOTH de sa télécommande pour sélectionner la source d’entrée Bluetooth. Le témoin BLUETOOTH du panneau avant clignote.

Réglage de la fonction de mise en veille automatique En activant la fonction de mise en veille automatique, vous n’oubliez plus de mettre le système hors tension après utilisation ou si vous vous endormez en regardant la télévision. Guide de dépannage Reportez-vous au tableau suivant si le système ne fonctionne pas convenablement. Si l’anomalie constatée n’est pas mentionnée, ou encore si les actions correctives suggérées sont sans effet, mettez le système hors tension, débranchez la fiche du câble d’alimentation et prenez contact avec le revendeur ou le centre d’entretien Yamaha agréé.
