4.6. Removing a direct attach cable
A direct attach cable can be attached to the SFP+ ports on this product.
1. While using one hand to push the SFP+ module section inward, use the other hand to pull the
removal tab toward yourself, disengaging the lock.

2. When the lock disengages, continue pulling the removal tab and slowly pull out the SFP+ module
section.

Caution
• It may be difficult to pull out the direct attach cable (sold separately). Refer
to the User Guide (available from the website) to properly disconnect it.
Forcibly pulling out the cable may damage this product or the direct attach
cable.

Memo
• Since this product supports hot-swapping, a direct attach cable can be
removed without turning the power off.
• Refer to the manual included to each direct attach cable for installation or
removal methods and precautions.
