[Description]
Enables IGMP on the applicable interface, even when multicast routing protocols such as PIM are not in effect. When multicast
routing protocols are in effect, IGMP will be enabled regardless of the settings for this command.
If this command is executed with the "no" syntax or "disable" is set as a parameter, all IGMP-related settings will be initialized
(including IGMP proxy settings), and IGMP will be disabled when the multicast routing protocol is not in effect.
[Note]
When a multicast routing protocol is enabled for the applicable interface, this command should be enabled. When a multicast
routing protocol is disabled, we recommend that this command should be disabled.
[Example]
Enable IGMP for VLAN2.
SWX3220(config)#interface vlan2
SWX3220(config-if)#ip igmp enable
8.5.2 Set IGMP version

ip igmp version version
no ip igmp version

Sets the IGMP version on the applicable interface.
If this command is executed with the "no" syntax, the setting returns to the default.
[Example]
On VLAN #2, set the IGMP version to 2.
