2.7.1. Switching the default LED mode for the port indicators
Use the “led-mode default” command to switch between the settings for the default LED mode
(LINK/ACT mode, OFF mode).

Memo
• This explains what happens when switching from LINK/ACT mode to OFF mode.
This assumes that you have logged in using the steps in “Logging in from a
computer connected to the CONSOLE port” or “Making settings from the
command line using Telnet”.
1.
Type “enable”, and press the [Enter] key.
You are now in privileged EXEC mode.

Type “configure terminal”, and press the [Enter] key.
The product switches from command input mode to global configuration mode.
SWX2320#configure terminal
Enter configuration commands, one per line. End with CNTL/Z.
SWX2320(config)#

Type “led-mode default off”, and press the [Enter] key.
The product switches to OFF mode.
