CRANKCASE AND CRANKSHAFT

neutral switch

crankcase bolts
5. Apply:

engine oil
(onto the crankshaft bearings and oil deliv-
ery holes)
6. Check:
9
crankshaft and transmission operation
Rough movement
→
Repair.
7. Install:
9
timing chain
9
timing chain guide (intake side)
9
timing chain guide (intake side) bolts
NOTE:
Apply locking agent (LOCTITE
R
) to the threads
of timing chain guide (intake side) bolts.
10 Nm (1.0 m•kg, 7.2 ft•lb)
4 Nm (0.4 m•kg, 3.0 ft•lb)
10 Nm (1.0 m•kg, 7.2 ft•lb)
