REMOVING THE TRANSMISSION

NOTE:

Prior to removing the transmission, separate the

crankcase.

1. Remove:

shift fork guide bar

shift fork guide bar springs

shift fork “R”

shift fork “L”

9

shift drum

NOTE:

Note the position of each part. Pay particular

attention to location and direction of shift forks.
