CHECKING THE AIR INDUCTION SYS-
TEM
1. Check:

hoses
Loose connections
→
Connect properly.
Cracks/damage
→
Replace.

pipes
Cracks/damage
→
Replace.
2. Check:

reed valve
9
reed valve stopper
9
reed valve seat
Cracks/damage
→
Replace the reed valve.
3. Check:
9
air cut-off valve
Cracks/damage
→
Replace.

bend hose

air cut cut-off valve assembly

reed valve assembly

INSTALLING THE AIR INDUCTION SYS-
TEM
1. Install:

reed valve assembly

air cut cut-off valve assembly

2. Connect:
9
vacuum sensing hose
9
bend hose
10 Nm (1.0 m·kg, 7.2 ft·lb)
